Band and Orchestra |
Students can take a band and/or orchestra class and have opportunities to perform. |
Battle of the Books | Battle of the Books is a book-related competition for students in grades 4-5 (elementary) and 6-8 (middle school). Students are quizzed about books that they have read from the designated Battle of the Books reading list. Teams are sponsored by school libraries. |
Crochet Club | Students meet on Friday afternoons to learn how to crochet. |
Diabetes Club | A club sponsored by the school nurse and another teacher for the purpose of learning about diabetes |
FFA | FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership |
Girls on the Run | Girls on the Run is a ten week program for third through fifth graders focused on developing essential skills to help particitpants recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one-of-a-kind. The program culminates with a service project and participant completing in a celebratory 5K event! |
HOSA | HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. |
Math Counts | A nationally recognized program that enriches students who enjoy problem-solving, acquiring new skills, and challenging themselves in solving rigorous math problems of all backgrounds. |
Middle School Athletics | Students have the opportunity to particpate in volleyball and basketball at the school level. At the district level, students can try out to participate in a variety of sports. |
Mock Trial | Students practice for and get to attend mock trial at ASU. They take on roles such as lawyer and judge in preparation. |
Student Council | Middle school students can participate together to plan school events and provide leadership and a student voice in our school and is led by our counselor. |
